Communication Skills: Foundation

A practical course to develop participants’ communication skills to help you deal with other people sensitively.  This course is suitable for non-clinical employees in any sector, volunteers and clinical employees. 

At the end of the course I will be able to

• Define what we mean by communication
• Identify how we communicate
• Explain why good communication is important in those with a life limiting condition
• Discuss what can cause barriers to good communication.
• Discuss different ways to enhance communication skills
